The Santa Clara University Board of Trustees elected Robert Finocchio’73, to a three-year term as chairman of the board.
Finocchio, a corporate director, venture capitalist and private investor, was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2000 and has served as vice-chair since 2003. He previously served on Santa Clara’s Board of Regents from 1995 to 1999. Finocchio takes the post previously held by A.C. (Mike) Markkula, who is stepping down after two terms as board chair.

This honor is awarded by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship to the graduating student enrolled in the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Program in recognition of significant achievements in the program, acknowledgment of accomplishments in entrepreneurship and the promise of future success.
SCU Ring Knockers was created to foster innovation, collaboration and entrepreneurship among engineering students, alumni and fellow Broncos from other disciplines. At its inaugural meeting, more than 80 graduate students and alumni came together to start building a network.
